Off-road tire 245/60R20 BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A
The BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A in size 245/60R20 is an advanced, premium-class highway-terrain tire, engineered specifically for overlanding enthusiasts. This modern off-road tire was created for owners of contemporary SUVs, crossovers, and pickups looking for the ideal balance between daily highway commuting and readiness for adventure off the beaten path.
The presented tire in the 245/60 R20 variant features a load index of 107 and a speed rating of H-210KMH. According to the official European tire labeling classification (EPREL), this specific tire size dedicated to dynamic 4x4 vehicles achieved a rolling resistance class of D, a wet grip class of E, and emits external road noise at a level of 72 dB.
By choosing the 245/60R20 BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain tires, you gain high travel comfort, quiet operation on asphalt, and long mileage without sacrificing the vehicle's off-road character. The tire performs excellently on gravel, dirt tracks, forest paths, and light mud. Thanks to its optimized construction, it ensures outstanding stability at high highway speeds and confident, predictable handling across all weather conditions.
Why choose BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A off-road tires?
- All-Season Winter Certification (3PMSF): The tire holds the full Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake approval, guaranteeing deep biting into snow, a short braking distance, and complete safety during winter.
- Optimized Highway-Terrain Tread: Three-dimensional, full-depth active interlocking sipes (3D Active Sipes) in size 245/60R20 provide excellent tread block stiffness, translating into phenomenal grip and a quiet highway ride.
- Chipping-Resistant Durable Compound: A special rubber composition (supporting rolling resistance class D) prevents tread block tearing (cut-and-chip) during dynamic driving on sharp stones, gravel, and shale.
- Reinforced Shoulder Zone: The sidewall construction, adapted from the legendary All-Terrain series, protects the carcass against damage and mechanical impacts, ensuring high safety (wet grip class E) in light off-road terrain.
- Even Wear and High Mileage: A computer-optimized tire-to-ground contact profile ensures uniform footprint pressure, drastically dampening resonance noise to the official value of 72 dB while extending tread life.
Choosing the Trail-Terrain T/A model means relying on the legendary American heritage of the BFGoodrich brand – the undisputed king of off-road rallies, whose powerful market position and engineering facilities are developed within the global Michelin technology group.
